Based on a short story by Pushcart Prize-Winner Emily Raboteau and adapted for the screen by Katherine Cunningham-Eves, this short film explores the life of an American-born Haitian girl, her relationship with her immigrant mother (who nannies for a wealthy but highly dysfunctional single mother) and her struggle with overwhelming jealousy toward Todd (her mama's charge.) Suspenseful, touching and socially poignant this short film is the prequel to the feature film script that is currently in development.
